Damien Baguley is proudly from Narrabri, where the first guitar and first songs started a journey that would stretch across decades.
In 1996, Damien and his bandmates moved to Tamworth during Country Music Festival. By 1998, with most gigs being booked in the Hunter, Newcastle became home. Damo Solo brings that whole story together: country favourites, Australian classics, rock anthems and crowd requests, shaped around the people in front of him.

THE FIRST GUITAR
Where it began.
The first guitar, the first songs and the beginning of a musical life in Damien’s hometown of Narrabri.
1990s
VALHALLA
Loud rooms. Lifelong mates.
Valhalla grew out of north-west NSW, before the band moved to Tamworth during Country Music Festival in 1996 and then Newcastle in 1998 as the Hunter bookings took over.
